Read our survey results of more than 6,500 Irish office professionals. Find out just how qualified, happy and ethical you all are! We also asked just how far would you go to get a day off, whether it was for an interview or a duvet day. The results are interesting and some quite inventive!
Gender / Age Stats
Are more males entering the office profession? Last time we surveyed we had a 90/10 breakdown but 2008 shows an increase of males entering the profession.

are in the 25-35 year age bracket, and overall 75% are under 35 years.
Roles
The duties of an office administrator are ever expanding in the workforce with 20% describing their role as senior administrator as opposed to a more specialist admin role.See the results below

A challenging administration role can lead to a very happy career and judging from
the replies to our next question many of you are very satisfied in your career choice
in office administration.

Well it’s official!, the Irish office worker is definitely a true professional. We asked a few
tongue in cheek questions to find out just how loyal and dedicated to your job you really
are and here are some of the results
Q. The boss is away on his annual leave, just what would you get up to
while he is away.
Over 90% of respondants would take extra workload on and extra hours if necessary to
help manage while the boss is way. One in ten are devils, stating they would take longer
lunches or surf the net more, which statistically isn’t bad.
